These 3rd grade students are participating in a hula hoop activity to music. This activity teaches students the effort concepts of time and force, as well as the space awareness concepts of directions and location.

These students are playing a basketball game using manipulative skills of dribbling and throwing.

Students were learning how to dribble at a fast pace in floor hockey moving in general space.

During our dancing unit, the students learned how to dance to the beat and move both arms and feet at same time but in different ways.  This particular dance was to the popular song, Gangnam Style, and was high energy that had the students worn out by the end of the song.

In our floor hockey unit, the students learned critical elements to goal tending including being in a crouching position as demonstrated here.
